JBE have completed the contract for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the Mechanical and Electrical Services associated with the refurbishment of the existing building to create 84,000ft² of Grade A office accommodation. Each floor of the newly refurbished building will benefit from 12,000ft² of unbroken floor plates as the central core will be relocated as part of the redevelopment.

Mechanical Services included LTHW Heating, VRF Air Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation, Stairwell Smoke Extract, Car Park Ventilation and Smoke Extract, Dry Risers, Domestic Hot & Cold Water, Foul Drainage, Rainwater Pipework and Sanitary Ware.

Electrical Services included LV Distribution and Switchgear, Refurbishment of Existing Generator, Small Power, Internal Lighting, Emergency Lighting, External Lighting, Lighting Controls, CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Access Control, Disabled Alarm Systems, Fire Alarm System, Intercom System, Lightning Protection, Earthing and Bonding and Solar PV Generation.

As part of our contract we were required to undertake 12months Seasonal Commissioning following practical completion.
