JBE have been awarded the contract for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the Mechanical and Electrical Services associated with the construction of an eight-storey building comprising ground floor retail units and seven floors of office space. The office space will be taken by HMRC, who have signed a 25-year lease, and our contract includes for fitting out the spaces to a CAT-A standard. The project is due for completion in February 2019.
Mechanical Services include VRF Air Conditioning, Mechanical and Heat Recovery Ventilation Systems, Domestic Hot and Cold Water, Foul Drainage, Dry Risers, Natural Gas, BMS and Sanitary Ware.
Electrical Services include LV Distribution and Switchgear, Standby Generator, Small Power, Internal Lighting, Emergency Lighting, External Lighting, Lighting Controls, Electric Heating, Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm, Disabled Toilet & Refuge Alarms, CCTV, PA, Paging System, Data, Lightning Protection, Earthing and Bonding.
The project has a minimum BREEAM Target Rating of ‘Excellent’.
As part of our contract we will be responsible for planned preventive maintenance during the first year following practical completion.
This is a fully coordinated BIM Level 2 project.
